Delegate Statement

Hey everyone! Our team members serve on the Accountability Committee and are members of the MetaGov team. We have been involved in Uniswap for years now and are looking forward to helping steward as many proposals as we can in the future!

  • What do you want to see happen?: We'd love to help many more teams in the future deploy Uni v3 (and v4?) to their chains
  • Why become a delegate?: After being involved in dozens of proposals over the last couple of years, we're looking to get more involved professionally and to stick around Uniswap governance for the indefinite future!
  • Skills: Uniswap deployment proposals, Delegate relations
  • Past contributions: Team members have led Penn Blockchain/FranklinDAO’s Uniswap governance platform for over a year, Helped propose multiple Uniswap v3 deployments & other governance votes, Sit on Uniswap’s deployment Accountability Committee, Researched deep dive into Uniswap’s delegate landscape and follow up recommendations
  • Our views on past votes: Deployments Accountability Committee (Support reasoning in top issues section), Deploy v3 on zkSync, Avax, Celo, Boba, etc. (Support reasoning in top issues section), Create v3deployments.uniswap.eth subdomain: In a post BSL world, this is appropriate and necessary to keep v3 deployments in an orderly fashion
  • Conflicts of Interest: Active community members in other defi projects: Aave, Compound, Maker, etc.

On meta governance, we believe this creates a great opportunity for Uniswap to form strong partnerships with other prominent projects and an easy way to stay relevant in day to day discussions across defi.
Cross chain deployments
Cross chain deployments
On cross chain deployments, we believe we should take a very dovish stance. Since BSL has expired, more recognized deployments of v3 will be best for Uniswap in the long run.
DAO working groups
DAO working groups
On DAO working groups, we believe selective instances are appropriate and beneficial. For example, groups like the bridge assessment committee and deployment accountability committee were created after specific issues were raised and are working to solve identified frictions.
